Present Perfect

The installation comprises seven ice blocks frozen using water from the innermost point of the fjord Seyðisfjörður in East Iceland. Plants from different origins were gathered, transported to Iceland, and embedded within the large blocks of ice. Over time, the flora-enveloped ice structure gradually melts and undergoes transformation.

Throughout the day, visitors have the opportunity to witness the metamorphosis as sunlight interacts with the installation. As the evening approaches, spectators experience  the processes and fragments of the melting down ice-flora structure that is accentuated by artficial light.
