White Stem

White Stem is composed of modular elements crafted from the  specific  natural wax blend. Easily stackable and reconfigurable, each segment carries slight variations in translucency and texture, creating a handmade rhythm that enhances the piece’s architectural clarity.

The material—developed through extensive testing for heat resistance and strength—comes to life with an integrated LED light source. Solid white by day, it turns softly luminous at night, revealing the organic structure within the wax, as well as adding a quiet intimacy. Its tall, totemic form has a calm yet resonant presence—an abstract gesture toward growth, renewal, and transformation.

White Stem was originally created for the Tactile Baltics exhibition during Milan Design Week 2025, and was later presented at Hotel Pacai in Vilnius. Tactile Baltics celebrates a new wave of Baltic designers redefining Northern European aesthetics through a shared tactile material language—grounded in regional heritage and elevated by a contemporary lens.
