designer - light artist
As a Lithuanian designer and light artist based in Copenhagen, my journey with light began after completing a Master’s degree in Creative Lighting Design in Edinburgh in 2014. Since then, my practice has included creating light art installations, leading workshops, designing lighting for interior and outdoor spaces, and working across a variety of creative industries and events.
My work focuses on creating site-specific, custom-made installations that shape our visual perception and bring a distinctive character to their surroundings. Often combined with other materials, light becomes a tool for creating spatial experiences and, at times, conveying hidden messages.
Since 2022, I have been a co-founder and creator at Daydreaming Objects, where light plays an essential role in curiosity-driven research and experimentation with materiality, leading to the creation of objects, luminaires and spatial installations.
